The eggPunkt is a food distribution centre for people living at or below the poverty line. It is available to people from the municipalities of Rebstein, Marbach, Altstätten, Eichberg and Rüthi. In addition to food, drinks can also be consumed free of charge in the café. It is also possible to meet people in a similar situation. A corresponding card for the entitlement to receive food is available from the respective social welfare offices. The food is provided by the Schweizertafel and regional retailers.
